Our co-founder Ahmet Günver was born in 1960 in Nazilli. He completed his primary and secondary education in Nazilli. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Izmir Dokuz Eylul University in 1982. During his higher education, he worked in the Accounting Department of Edak Pharmaceutical Distribution Warehouse. After his military service, he worked as an Accounting Officer and General Accounting Chief at Köytaş Tekstil between 1984 and 1996. In the beginning of 1996, he founded Nazilli Tekstil with Mustafa Er and started cotton grey fabric production in Nazilli Industrial Zone. In 1997, he became a partner to AS-YA Tekstil, which acquired an important place in the market by increasing its production quality and capacity after purchasing the former Nastas Shoe Factory in Hamzallı Village as the new production facility. He has been the managing partner of AS-YA Tekstil, since it’s merger with Nazilli Tekstil in 2002.

Our co-founder Mustafa Er was born in 1955 in Düzce. He completed his primary and secondary education in Düzce. He graduated from the Faculty of Business Administration at Erzurum Atatürk University in 1979. He started to work as a Warehouse Clerk in the Tarsus Textile Dyes Industry Enterprise of Sümerbank, from where he received his scholarship for his studies, in September 1979. He did his short-term military service in 1982. He worked as the Chief of Trade, Sales and Purchase in the same enterprise. In 1983, he was transferred to the Nazilli Sümerbank Printing Factory as the Commercial Procurement Supervisor. He resigned from this duty in 1985 and started to work as the Purchasing Manager at Nazilli Köytaş Tekstil. He founded Nazilli Tekstil together with Ahmet Günver in 1996. In 1997, he became a partner to AS-YA Tekstil. He left his job in Köytaş in 1998 and has been the managing partner of AS-YA Tekstil since then.
